We are Clear Creek Golf – Shelbyville, KY

Constructed in 1989, Clear Creek Executive Golf Course and Practice Range was made possible by the generous contributions of Mr. Robert Doyle, W.R. Long, and Bennett Roach, and is proudly a part of the Shelby County/Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department. Through the years, the focus has never changed from “Offer the best of golf at the best of values”. This mission continues and we strive to make golf a Clear Creek both enjoyable and affordable to any and all golfers.

Originally constructed as an addition to the stand-alone driving range location, Clear Creek Golf Center has become the center for golfer development in Shelbyville, KY and surrounding areas. With a challenging, yet fun-filled, executive golf course style, the 9-Hole course offers a variety of benefits to both beginners, advanced players, and to walkers seeking a bit of “golf fitness”. Yardage on the 9-Hole course varies from 1400 to 1700 yards, with six par 3’s and three par 4’s. One 9-hole round is equal to approximately a two-mile walk. Clear Creek Golf Course offers three sets of tee markers for golfers. These markers include a forward tee, front nine tee, and a back nine tee for the same nine from a different view. Play is on an open basis with the first tee operating as “first come, first serve” seven days a week

Along with the executive golf course, the golf center also includes a covered practice range that measures approximately 285 yards with 8 covered bays, 2 uncovered bays, self-serve ball dispenser (credit cards & select pi app accepted), fairway sand bunker, putting green, pitching/chipping area, and seven different target greens. Clinics and Lessons are available Tuesday through Saturday by 6-time KY PGA Award winning and PGA Professional Derrick Griffitts.
